This dazzling magical feature from Arthur Setterington is a quality effect from start to finish. A large (4 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 4 1/4") wooded dice, black with white spots is displayed and then covered with a topless/bottomless wooden tube (which is finished in red and gold lacquers. This unit, the dice and the tube, is now placed on an elevated black wooden base. A round, yellow metal cylinder is placed atop the dice (which is still inside the wooden tube). A solid wooden mallet is used by the performer to hammer the metal cylinder inside the wooden tube! A case of one solid object occupying the same space as another solid object! Is the dice still there? Did the metal cylinder fold up or disappear? The performer removes the outside wooden tube - showing it empty. Sitting on the base is the undamaged metal cylinder. The dice has vanished! But, perhaps, the metal cylinder conceals something. The magician lifts it carefully to reveal - a cylindrical dice! complete with elongated spots, which completely fills the metal cylinder! This cylindrical dice is 3" in height and 3" in diameter - and it is solid! It may be freely displayed and even examined. A total transformation!
