A spectacular type of illusion that is sensational. A young lady enters an all-metal cage that is resting on an elevated shallow table. A fancy cloth covering is placed over the cage and the girl. By means of overhead rigging, the cage is raised high up into the air. A shot is fired and the cage and the girl vanish, as the covering falls to the floor of the stage. A shot is heard at the front of the theatre as the young girl is seen running down the aisle to the stage.
