Here is an unusual and baffling illusion. A
girl assistant steps into a tall cabinet, as seen
in the illustration. A leather collar strap is
placed around her neck and chains from the
collar lead out each side where padlocks are
snapped into position. These locks remain in
full view throughout. Five solid blades, which
can be examined, are displayed. The front
door of the cabinet is closed and the magician
pushes the first blade through the center of
the cabinet. Blade is the complete width of the cabinet and protrudes out the back.
Cabinet is turned around and the next two blades are shoved through the upper section of the cabinet. Next, the remaining two blades are pushed through the lower section of the cabinet. The solid blades remain in the position as seen in the illustration. Where is the girl? Remember the padlocks are still in view. The space between each blade is only ten inches! The cabinet is turned around several times so that all sides may be displayed.
The five blades are then removed rapidly ... the front door is opened ... and the girl is seen, still in the locked position, in the cabinet! This is a mystery that your audience will long remember! (Workshop plans available.) An Arturo creation.
