IMAGINE: “Martian Time” - A transparent crystal which pulses with light. The doors are opened and a small, silver Martian egg is placed inside. The doors are closed and the crystal is given a spin. When it stops, a Martian child has hatched from the egg. The crystal is spun again and a moment later the child is seen to have grown to adult size. Once more the crystal is spun and the adult Martian becomes aged. Suddenly the crystal folds flat, putting to rest any absurd thought that the crystal somehow conceals the child Martian and his adult counterpart. The illusionist and the aged Martian walk off stage.
IMAGINE: “Rolling Crone” - The curtains part revealing a chrome roller coaster structure. There is a large open-ended drum on a platform at the top. A male assistant is selected to play the part of an old hag or crone. He is dressed up for this purpose and enters the drum. The open ends are covered with tissue paper and the drum is pushed down the roller coaster structure. When it comes to a stop the imprisoned “crone” bursts out of the drum only to have been transformed into a beautiful young lady.
IMAGINE: Web and Wonder, Sand People, Air Born, Fade Out, Big Foot, Spirit Woman, Sexist Dreamer, Soul Air, The Black Hole, McAbre, Starfire, Sea Myth, Poinc’s Paradox, King Ut, Eve 2005, Space Ark, Squeeze, Aida Always, Ghosts and Gore and The Haunted Cabinet.
