The cabinet is shown on all sides, as well as the interior. The curtains are closed and one, two or three persons can be produced, one at a time or in a group, even though the cabinet is surrounded by a committee.
In another version the magician dons a cloak, beard, etc. He stands in the open front section and momentarily holds a sheet in front of him and the cabinet. A shape appears under the sheet and moves to one side of the cabinet, still covered by the sheet. A second sheet is used and another shape comes forth. A third sheet and still another shape appears.
The magician enters the cabinet and draws the curtains closed. As the draped figures make their appearances from under the sheets, at the first two are beautiful girls, the third, believe it or not, is the magician! The curtains of the cabinet are drawn open showing the interior of the cabinet empty.
