Newspaper Prediction

Five envelopes, each one containing a different sheet of newspaper, are displayed. A spectator selects one of the envelopes and the sheet inside. The magician tears the selected sheet into dozens of tiny squares.
Then the magician asks the spectator to choose one of the pieces at random (no force,) and to read the news item he has randomly arrived at in a loud, clear voice.
At the same time, the magician reveals a prediction he wrote before the show. It is the same as the wording in the randomly selected piece of newsprint!
Remember these points:
* No complicated memory work or technique required
* No switches of paper or torn pieces
* Spectator has a completely free choice of the torn pieces
* Material for 50 performances included
