A solid block of wood penetrates two planks of wood. By the late Mikame.
This effect is very easy to do and very baffling. In fact, it seems impossible if you watch the demonstration below. Everything seems so fair. I have several block penetrations and none of them are as well made or as unique as this one. Everything is solid, so to speak. This is completely under your control as you can push the block through the blades as quickly or as slowly as you like. The block and blades can be examined at the end if you wish, the tube can be shown empty at the end. This one is a fooler and the clever prop does all the work for you, all you really need to do is provide the push.
The only drawback is the instructions are in Japanese, however Abbotts will send a brief outline of the procedure so you will be able to work this in no time. Its very easy once you know the secret (where have I heard those words before???).
